stop ocampo politics and focus on the future

The issue of the Ocampo six has now become a major issue in the media today with almost everybody talking about it. Kenyans are so much into this issue that we may have forgotten the IDPs in the country among other issues.  Recently, we had the vice president and his delegation head to the Diaspora to coax the member states of the ICC to support the deferral of the Kenyan case.
In my opinion, if some of the six believe that they are innocent, why is the government trying to support the establishment of a local tribunal that they had earlier on rejected? Is the president trying to play the role of a concerned mother even when he knows that the mission is a flop?
The president is trying to play it safe for him by willingly supporting the establishment of a local tribunal though he knows very well that he is fighting a losing battle. He should therefore put to better use the money being used for the support of his ambition to better use. The IDPs who emerged as a result of the disputed elections are here looking at all this happening and I think it is a disappointment to the government.
The rain season is slowly coming, the next general elections are on the way and yet their situation is not being addressed. Instead the government is massively spending on the issue of six individuals at the tax payers’ expense. I therefore urge the concerned government bodies to look into this and try solving the IDP plight as soon as possible to save the Kenyans agony.

in those lines, i suppose we are being down played by the belief that we have short memory. as Kenyans, lets not put our personal desires first.
