Is the Government justified in funding the legal fees for the Ocampo six?

Should the government pay for the Ocampo six lawyers?
There have been so many issues relating to the issue of the Ocampo six in the recent times. Since the opening of the 10th sitting of the parliament was opened, a lot has been said in line with the same issue.
Is the public ready to fund for the expenses of the suspect at The Hague? Putting in mind that people in the IDP camps are part of the public in this case. Having this in mind, I don’t think the government is justified in footing the bills for the lawyers for the suspects.
It is painful to see that the government is not that committed in ensuring the public opinion is held with the esteem it deserves. Bringing the idea of the financing of the Hague six is painful especially to those that are still in agony due to the supposed actions by the suspect in the picture.
I am of the opinion that the government should concentrate on settling the IDPs before embarking on the issue of the Ocampo six because this is not an issue of national interest. It should try and do away with the self interest of our politicians and try addressing issues that are applicable and universally accepted by the society.

Multitasking is bad for you.

Hands up if you are a dude and can do like two things at once. Say, hug a friend, probably a lady, while speaking on the phone and wave at a friend at the same time without intimidating any of the parties. Here receive a handshake, hug and congratulatory massage from me if you can do all that.
I am actually amazed if you can do two things at the same time and you are a guy of my type. Although it is a typical stereotype but you see, biologically and maybe to some extent, biblically, it is true that most men cannot multitask.
I suppose the men here may be raising their hand in protest but look at this, I am not writing this piece as a diss to you. I came across a certain journal that says that the only place a man can multitask is when with the computer where he can hold a chat on face book, send mail to a friend and still get a glimpse to YouTube for fun. But wait, if in this process his phone rung, it would go unanswered if it was on vibration or on low tone. And if it was on loud ring, then it will also have to ring for a while before he notices.
Why am I saying all these then? I suppose there is some thing we were not taught in school that men have short term memories compared to the ladies. Take this for instance,  a lady in the shopping mall can pick stuff off the shelves, compare prices, check on other alternatives, read through the ingredients list, drag the trolley while maybe speaking on the phone, say an apology to a fellow customer for having dropped the car keys, maybe watch on the kid she went shopping with.
Well, while I am all smiles for my ability to do two things, there is a worry due to my short term memory along other things. I say this because, maybe you have herd of Isaac Newton, who instead of boiling the edible egg, mistook it for his treasured watch as a result of doing two things at once. You now see some of the grave mistakes of multitasking?
Come to this local case here, I left school last week earlier intending to go do my laundry. On getting to the house, there was an interesting programme on television. So I quickly changed, fetched water and soaked the clothes so soften the fabric before washing.
I stuffed all the damn clothes into the water and proceeded to the preparation of tea then watching the programme on television. Well as a norm, I have to call friends I the evenings or maybe receive calls all the same. But for today, I discover that my phone wasn’t ringing. That’s when it dawned on me that I had somehow managed to soak my precious “mulika mwizi” in the trouser that I soaked and was not pleased about it after all!
Additionally, on you r side, although you may hold the belief that you are Tom of all trades, I assure you, there is very little you achieve in terms of perfection and believe you me, there is nothing presentable as a result of multitasking. It is said that there will be an output but the output is of low value.
That is why I urge to concentrate on a given task at a time. Although you may feel something amiss while doing one thing, it is for the benefit of you and quality output.
So at time, when you get me in the computer lab, logged into YouTube, face book, hotmail, yahoo mail and Google don’t look at it like  I m nuts, I’m just exercising my scientific ability to multitask because that is the only place I can. Well I pity myself for my disability but all men, okay majority, will trust that I have said the truth. If not, try making a change as you watch this space. Adios.

why some guys "get" girls.

I remember it as far back as 4th grade.

Growing up, and well into adulthood I've seen it time and time again. Those guys who don't even
have to "try", they just get girls.

It happens to them effortlessly, while guys like us struggle half of our lives trying to figure out
how to develop the "gift" that they're born with.

So what do these guys have, that "average" guys don't, that keeps women flocking to them?

If you look closely, you'll notice a few things.

First of all, most of these guys are "alpha males", they're outgoing, they're not afraid to be
opinionated, they usually have a good sense of humor and are generally well liked...

They walk into a room and turn heads.

So how can a "normal" guy transform into an "alpha male"?

Most guys, even if they don't consider themselves an alpha male, they have a time in their lives
where they acted like one...

Whether it was playing sports as a kid, being the life of the party in college, whatever.

We've all had some point in our lives where we had to stand up and make decisions...

And if you can apply that mentality to everything you do, you'll notice you start to carry your head
a lot higher and feel a lot better about yourself.

If it doesn't come naturally for you don't worry, you're just like 95% of the rest of us on the planet...

Being an alpha male isn't something you can shut on and off like a switch, it's 24/7, all day every day.

But you CAN learn it. And once you do, it helps you out in ALL areas of your life, not just meeting girls.
It's that natural confidence that gets you the promotion, that keeps you feeling positive and upbeat
all day, and that attracts girls like a magnet...

Like anything else in life, it takes a conscious effort to learn and truly transform yourself, but
once you do it - Everything Changes...

Learning what an alpha male is, and learning how to model my own behavior to that of an alpha
male, is by far the best thing that's ever happened to me in life...

It's taken me from being an awkward loner to having more girls hanging on me than I know what
to do with...

It's taken me from being a broke no-name college student bound for a lifetime of computer
repair work into a thriving business owner.

It's the ONE skill I can say, without a doubt, forever changed my life for the better.

And any guy can learn how to do it.

Start being aware of it.

No matter what you're doing, stop and ask yourself if you're acting like an alpha male would act.

It's extremely important.

Becoming an alpha male will forever change your life in ways you can't even imagine.

stop ocampo politics and focus on the future

The issue of the Ocampo six has now become a major issue in the media today with almost everybody talking about it. Kenyans are so much into this issue that we may have forgotten the IDPs in the country among other issues.  Recently, we had the vice president and his delegation head to the Diaspora to coax the member states of the ICC to support the deferral of the Kenyan case.
In my opinion, if some of the six believe that they are innocent, why is the government trying to support the establishment of a local tribunal that they had earlier on rejected? Is the president trying to play the role of a concerned mother even when he knows that the mission is a flop?
The president is trying to play it safe for him by willingly supporting the establishment of a local tribunal though he knows very well that he is fighting a losing battle. He should therefore put to better use the money being used for the support of his ambition to better use. The IDPs who emerged as a result of the disputed elections are here looking at all this happening and I think it is a disappointment to the government.
The rain season is slowly coming, the next general elections are on the way and yet their situation is not being addressed. Instead the government is massively spending on the issue of six individuals at the tax payers’ expense. I therefore urge the concerned government bodies to look into this and try solving the IDP plight as soon as possible to save the Kenyans agony.
